Residentials
The first residential marks the start of the Pathways programme, and is an introduction to the field of children’s illustration. It’s led by a pair of children’s illustrators working collaboratively with university tutors and publishing editors/art directors. It starts with the first of six literature creation briefs, delivered by a children’s publisher – and concludes with a group critique of the work that’s produced to that brief. The winter residential gives mentees an opportunity to get to know each other, while learning and working together.
