While all the boy penguins and the girl penguins at the zoo start noticing each other, Roy and Silo, who are both boy penguins, are a little different. They don’t look at any of the girls– they only have eyes for each other.
The two penguins do everything that the other couples in the zoo do, right from going to sleep together to waking up in the morning together. But one day, they discover that there is one thing that the other couples can do that they seemingly cannot – have a baby penguin.
Based on a true story about two male penguins at Central Park Zoo in New York, the book is a beautiful celebration of love and families of all kinds.
